Success Builds Momentum

Typically people think that experience results from failure. That’s because people mostly focus on the negative. And that’s a result of evolution. Cautious people, who take a more negative view, survive at higher rates and have more descendents.

But the way to build more momentum in your life is to create a victory list for yourself, which includes what you have been successful at. Then use the opportunities, learning and growth available from that list. So for example say you achieved a university degree in Russian Literature. For the most part that kind of degree doesn’t lead to very many jobs. But there may be more possibilities. For example there are many other people who have similar degrees and there could be great networking opportunities among that group, if you pursue them.

So create your victory list in written form. Look at it from time to time so your sub-conscious can go to work creating ideas. Then very soon you’ll have some new directions to take to build momentum in your life.
